Subdivision Plats

Staff reviews subdivision plats for compliance with the subdivision regulations. Contact is made with the utility companies, municipalities, public works department, and sewer district to insure that all needs are adequately addressed.

The plat is reviewed for compliance with the regulations and then submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission. After the plat has been approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission, the developer can install the infrastructure, or provide the County Commission with surety to guarantee that the improvements are completed.

All required documentation must be received in our office by the required deadline. Deadlines can be viewed on our main page under "Public Notices".

The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
