Liquor License

Liquor License Application/Renewal

Missouri Law, §311.220 RSMo, requires that any individual or business that is authorized to have a State of Missouri Liquor License must also have a valid Boone County Liquor License in order to operate within the county.

The Boone County Clerk maintains liquor license records while the Boone County Collector has the responsibility of collecting the fees and issuing a liquor license. The fees vary depending on the nature of the business. Liquor licenses are valid from the dates indicated on the license.

All applicable property taxes in the name of the business must be paid before a liquor license will be issued. Individuals applying for a liquor license may also be required to show proof that property taxes have been paid.

Please see the collector's page for more detailed information on payments.

For information on obtaining a Boone County Liquor License, contact the Boone County Clerk at (573) 886-4295; or the Boone County Collector at (573) 886-4285.
