Boone County CARES Act Funding Opportunity
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security ACT (CARES Act) passed on March 27, 2020, and signed by President Trump, established the Coronavirus Relief Fund. Each of Missouri’s counties received an allocation based on population. Boone County received $21,171,910.00.
The CARES Act funding opportunity in Boone County is designed to provide those impacted by the COVID-19 public health emergency with financial relief through an application-based reimbursement program.
The County of Boone has implemented a portal-based application system to streamline applications. Applicants should be aware that information submitted through this portal are open records subject to the Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo. The Boone County Office of Emergency Management is serving as the reimbursement administrating office for the Boone County Commission.
