Welcome to the Online Boone County Purchasing Office!
The County Commission in 1995 created this department. The purchasing department provides
centralized coordination of County procurement activities. This department establishes formal
criteria and purchasing regulations used throughout the County. The department’s primary
objectives include achieving consistency throughout the County, protecting the public interest,
and promoting competition among vendors. This department also coordinates the disposal of
County fixed assets.
