Commission Gets 2009 Fiscal Update

On Wednesday, the Boone County Commissioners met with County Auditor June Pitchford for a recap of the 2009 fiscal year. Actual revenue in the general fund fell short of budget by three percent (but was right in line with the revised projects developed in fall of '09) and sales tax revenues for the general fund declined by 2.76 percent, slightly better than the County's revised projection of negative three percent.
