Boone County Roads Open, Public Works Crews Working to Clear Remaining Debris

Following Monday night's storms, which were accompanied by winds up to 60mph, Boone County Public Works crews are still working on clearing debris from roadways throughout the County. All roads are open for travel; however, trees and limbs still litter several roads in Boone County.

In the Northern District, Public Works crews are still working to clear Mexico Gravel Road east of Route Z, the east end of Owens School Road, Van Court Road, Olden Road, McQuitty Lane, Ponderosa Street and just north of the bridge on the gravel portion of Wagon Trail Road.

In the Southern District, Public Works crews are still working to clear Gilmore Road, Log Providence Road, Hawkins Road, Stedman Road/Howard Orchard Road, Jemerson Creek Road, Wren School Road, Fox Hollow Road, South Old Plank Road, Stanley Poe Road at the low water crossing, the intersection of Scott Boulevard and Country Hill Drive, Carr Lane, Graham Road, North Pinebrook Drive, East Bonne Femme Church Road, West Dothage Lane East, Wehmeyer Road, Warren School Road, Gleason Road, Roby Farm Road, Smith Hatchery Road and Club House Road.

Boone County Public Works crews have been working steadily since midnight on Monday evening to clear the roads of Boone County.
