Boone County Recorder Bob Nolte Launches Online Marriage License Application
May 17, 2023 - Recorder of Deeds Bob Nolte has announced a new online service for couples wishing to apply for a marriage license. Couples can now fill out an online application prior to visiting the Recorder's office together to complete the application process. Previously, all applications were completed in person.
"I'm excited to offer this additional service to the citizens of Boone County," said Nolte. "The ability to start the marriage license application online will make interactions with our office easier and more convenient. I look forward to providing additional enhancements to the online services offered by my office."
Couples can apply for their marriage license online by submitting the form at marriage.boonemo.org, before visiting the Recorder’s office to finish the application and receive their license. Those who choose not to apply online should visit the office in person to submit their application. Staff members are available to assist with either process. The office is located on the first floor of the Boone County Government Center and is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
