Boone County Government Offices and Departments Closed on Friday, February 18, 2022, Due to Inclement Weather
February 17, 2022—Due to the inclement weather and continuing dangerous driving conditions, non-essential Boone County Government offices and departments will be closed on Friday, February 18, 2022. All meetings previously scheduled to occur at Boone County buildings have been cancelled.
Residents should continue to assume travel Thursday and Friday will be dangerous at best, if not impossible. All efforts should be made to avoid travel as all surfaces, including roadways, sidewalks, driveways, and even grass may be snow/ice covered.
Residents are reminded not to call 9-1-1 unless there is an actual emergency occurring.
