Sneak Peek Of "Profiles Of Celebration" Living History Of Courageous Women Of Missouri To Be Held Saturday, March 7, 2020
March 5, 2020 – The Stephens College Performing Arts Students will be offering sneak peeks of their original production, “Profiles of Celebration,” a living history of courageous women of Missouri, on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:00PM and 3:30PM. The performances will be held at the Boone County History and Culture Center, located at 3801 Ponderosa Street in Columbia, MO.
“Profiles of Celebration” is an original devised work recognizing many of the distinguished women who impacted the history of Boone County and Missouri. Stephens College Performing Arts Students collaborated to create this piece as a part of the Boone County Bicentennial Celebration. Directed by Dr. Gail Humphries Mardirosian, the sneak peek will include showcases of such notable women as Thomasina Talley Greene, Rebecca Boone, Shirley Drew Hardwicke, Helen Stephens, Ann Covington and Muriel Battle.
Both the 2:00PM and 3:30PM performances are free of charge and open to the public. Limited seating will be available at each performance.
