BOONE COUNTY COMMISSION HOSTS PRESS CONFERENCE
INTRODUCING 911/JOINT COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANTS
September 3, 2013—The Boone County Commission moved this morning to enter into a contract with Mission Critical Partners, based on the recommendation of the 911/Joint Communications Consultant Services selection committee. Mission Critical Partners, a firm dedicated to and equipped for emergency service development consultation, will assist with assessing the current capabilities and needs of Boone County’s emergency services as well as planning and implementing the design of the new 911/Office of Emergency Management Center. Mission Critical Partners will act as consultants and advisors in requesting the appropriate architectural assistance and equipment necessary to meet the objectives of the new facility.
The Boone County Commission and representatives from Mission Critical Partners will host a press conference at 8:30AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in the Roger B. Wilson Boone County Government Center Commission Chambers. Topics include the processes that will be followed in the planning and execution of the plan to build, outfit and staff a new 911/Office of Emergency Management Center. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
