Missouri Legislature debating bill that may change filing dates for 2012 August Primary
On Monday, February 27, Missouri Legislature will be debating a bill that would change the opening and closing filing dates for the 2012 August Primary. Currently, filing is scheduled to open at 8:00am on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 and close on Tuesday, March 27 at 5:00pm. If changes are made on Monday, updated notices will be posted on the website of the Secretary of State (www.sos.mo.gov) and the Boone County Clerk (www.showmeboone.com/clerk).
