Things you may have missed...
Building previously known as the Johnston Paint Building renamed
Through Commission orders on Thursday, February 9, the building previously known as the Johnston Paint Building has been renamed as the Boone County Annex. This building houses the offices of Boone County Facilities Maintenance, Purchasing and Human Resources.
Boone County Commission working on legislative priorities
Each legislative session, the Boone County Commission works diligently determining legislative priorities and lobbying for legislature that would be beneficial to Boone County and against that which would be detrimental. Most recently, Boone County Commissioner Karen M. Miller testified in Jefferson City regarding rental standards and purchasing regulations. Attention will be paid to other legislative priorities as the legislative session continues.
