Security Overview

The Security division is responsible for overseeing critical safety systems throughout County facilities, including CVT fire sprinklers, CCTV surveillance, security door control systems, door access readers, and the management and issuance of employee ID badges. These systems help ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and the public.

Security & Parking Technician I

Security & Parking Technicians I assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems across various County facilities. Monitors county parking lots and issues citations when there is a violation. Other functions for this position include maintaining CCTV systems, servicing security door controls, and access readers, troubleshooting fire sprinkler monitoring systems, working with towing vendors, checking for hangtags, and programming employee ID badges.

Security Technician

Security Technician is responsible for maintaining and monitoring building security and parking operations at county facilities. This position performs administrative tasks, coordinates outside services and inspections, reviews and approves payroll, conducts performance evaluations, and interprets blueprints and schematics related to security systems, including cameras and door access readers.
