Boone County Government Mourns Passing of Prosecuting Attorney Dan Knight
On behalf of Boone County Government
We are deeply saddened by the death of our long-time colleague, Dan Knight. He served the people of Boone County in the Prosecuting Attorney’s office since 1992, and became the elected Prosecutor on January 1, 2006, a position he has held ever since. His dedication to his profession and his passionate advocacy were unparalleled. His loss will be felt by many, including his colleagues in the courthouse and the law enforcement community. Each of us will feel this loss and grief in our own way. We encourage anyone struggling to cope during this sad time to reach out for assistance.
