Boone County Office of Emergency Management to Host Integrated Preparedness And Planning Workshop
COLUMBIA, Mo. (November 24, 2025) - The Boone County Office of Emergency Management will host the fifth annual Integrated and Planning Preparedness Workshop (IPPW) on December 5, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Columbia Police Department Regional Training Center located at 5001 E. Meyer Industrial Dr., Columbia.
The purpose of the IPPW is to review our full range of preparedness activities within the Integrated Preparedness Cycle, including planning, organizing, equipping, training, exercising, and improving. Using this framework, along with input from senior leaders and the community, we identify, refine, and set preparedness priorities for the office. These priorities then guide the development and scheduling of activities in our multi-year Integrated Preparedness Plan.
