COLUMBIA, Mo. (October 21, 2025) - The Boone County Office of Emergency Management (BCOEM) will offer a free ICS 300: Intermediate Incident Command for Expanding Incidents course from December 17–19. These techniques, used by many agencies across the country, can also enhance everyday operations.
Prerequisites:
- FEMA Independent Study (IS) ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 courses are required.
- All prerequisites can easily be taken on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Emergency Management Institute Website at https://training.fema.gov/is/crslist.aspx. *Government Shutdown May Affect Access.
