Boone County Announces Launch of Interactive Roads Dashboard

COLUMBIA, Mo. (June 17, 2025) - Boone County is pleased to announce the launch of the new Boone County Roads Dashboard-an interactive, web-based tool that offers residents and local stakeholders easy access to detailed roadway information.

Developed to enhance transparency, the platform consolidates a wide range of road-related maps and data into a single, user-friendly interface. Community members can explore road surface types, ownership and maintenance responsibility, average daily traffic (ADT) counts, snow routes, and current road closures through dynamic maps and tools. Navigation tabs in the upper right corner of the dashboard provide access to additional data categories, while visual elements like pie charts filter the map results to help users explore patterns and trends more effectively. Non-emergency road or storm drainage issues can be reported directly through the dashboard, making it easier to share concerns with Boone County staff.

A Valuable Tool for Residents and Staff

The Boone County Roads Dashboard provides residents with a convenient way to access up-to-date information about the roads they travel every day. Whether viewing average daily traffic volumes, monitoring construction or weather-related closures, or learning more about road ownership and maintenance responsibility, this tool empowers citizens to stay informed and engaged with their community's infrastructure.

County employees can utilize the dashboard to analyze and respond more efficiently to public concerns, plan maintenance efforts, and better allocate resources. With quick access to road data in a centralized location, staff can deliver more timely and targeted service to the public.

The Boone County Roads Dashboard is available now and can be accessed through the Road & Bridge page on the Boone County website or via the following link: Boone County Roads Dashboard.
