Prescription Drug Take Back Event
October 20, 2020 - The next Prescription Drug Take Back event in Boone County is being held October 23rd & 24th, 2020, with multiple collection sites available. We want to remind everyone that sharps/needles should not be brought to the collection sites. Below are recommendations for prescription drug disposal between these take back events, disposal of medications via the City of Columbia's household hazardous waste disposal, methods recommended by the Department of Natural Resources, and proper disposal of sharps/needles.

Friday, October 23rd, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Harry S. Truman VA Hospital, 800 Hospital Dr, Columbia, MO
- University of Missouri Student Union, 518 Hitt St, Columbia, MO
Saturday, October 24th, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Ashland Police Department, 601 E Broadway, Ashland, MO
- Centralia Police Department, 114 S Rollins, Centralia, MO
- Hallsville Police Department, 202 Highway 124 East, Hallsville, MO
- Hickman High School, 1104 N Providence Rd, Columbia, MO
- Rock Bridge High School, 4303 S Providence Rd, Columbia, MO
