Boone County Recognizes 10 Employees for Milestones Over 20 Years of Service

March 5, 2020 – On Wednesday, March 4, 2020, 10 employees of Boone County Government were recognized for having served the citizens of Boone County for twenty years or more.  These employees each reached a five-year milestone beyond twenty years during 2019 and were recognized at the Boone County Years of Service Awards Ceremony held at the historic JW “Blind” Boone Home:

Assessor’s Office
Linda Crane – 40 Years
Jacquelyn Davidson – 35 Years

County Clerk’s Office
Arthur Auer – 35 Years

Prosecuting Attorney
Merilee Crockett – 20 Years
Stephen Gunn – 20 Years
Ruby Marsden – 45 Years

Road & Bridge
Greg Edington – 25 Years
Chris Jennings – 20 Years

Resource Management
Paula Evans – 20 Years
Darin Sapp – 20 Years

The following Boone County Sheriff’s Department employees, who reached a five-year milestone beyond twenty years during 2019, were also previously recognized:

Britt Shea – 20 Years

Boone County is proud to have 74 employees who have served the citizens for over 20 years. These employees make up approximately 16% of the County’s benefited employees.
