Boone County Resource Management is located on the third floor of Boone County Government Center at 801 E. Walnut in Columbia, MO. This department was developed in January of 2011 in response to a growing need to combine the Planning & Building Department with the Design & Construction Department. Resource Management brings together in one department the engineering, planning and inspection services provided by Boone County. These services relate to such things as road construction and inspection, engineering, building inspections, subdivision requirements, zoning and stormwater.
