JOINT COMM 911 OPERATIONS

Responsibilities:

Process and direct others in the budgetary activities of the 911 Joint Communications Center. Responsible for accurate data for the 911 Joint Communications budgets, grants, and payroll; process, track, and analyze budget, grant and payroll documents and data; maintain financial reports; manage the financial aspects of grant reimbursements and expenditures. Assist with year-end closing processes, accruals, balance sheets, and reports. Submit, review, and track fixed asset purchases and forms. Respond to outside auditors or other financial inquiries. Record payments and issue receipts (e.g., for 911 records requests.) Work with County Purchasing with bid analyses and awards, fixed asset tracking, and other purchasing procedures.

Full-time, non-exempt, benefited

Location:

Columbia, Missouri

Qualifications: 

High school diploma or GED, plus 2 years clerical or office management experience, and 2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience. Ability to type 35 wpm. Must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policy.

Preferred Skills: 

Bachelor's degree in accounting, public administration, business, or related field, and one year of accounting or bookkeeping experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range: 

$20.41 - $30.61
