Sorts mail according to destination and type; folds and inserts documents into envelopes either by machine or by hand; weighs and computes postage. Maintains data in computer systems; completes and maintains reporting; orders and receives supplies; reconciles records of expenditures; investigates and implements procedures to reduce costs. Maintains processes in conjunction with USPS regulations to receive discounted postage. Assists in maintaining standards to meet USPS regulations and acts as primary contact for all USPS regulations. Assists other county offices with document scanning and filing as time permits. Maintains inventory. Performs additional duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of related clerical or customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; typing skills and familiarity with computer software programs; MS Word and Excel experience required; must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policy.
Excellent organizational and customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
