Performs a variety of cleaning tasks to clean and maintain the condition of the employee's assigned area. Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim; cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas; sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes hard floors. Vacuums rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies; dusts furniture and equipment; polishes metalwork; washes walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills; empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays. Operates various pieces of janitorial equipment: auto scrubber, floor buffer. Transports trash to waste disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies; removes debris from lawns, sidewalks, and parking areas. Opens and closes by locking and unlocking buildings; replenishes cleaning supplies and materials; loads and unloads cleaning equipment, supplies and materials; reports maintenance issues as needed.
Full-time, benefited, non-exempt
4:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
High School diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of custodial experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have reliable transportation and a valid Missouri Driver's License; must possess a clear criminal record (excluding minor traffic violations); Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, stand extensively and bend/stoop frequently. Must meet minimum qualifications set forth by the FBI and MSHP CJIS Security policy.
Commercial cleaning experience.
$11.03 - $11.72 per hour
