Mental Health Advisory Board

Mission

The Mental Health Advisory Board of Boone County has been established by the Boone County Public Administrator for the sole purpose of helping her achieve the following:

  • Procure additional funding to provide services and necessities that will better enable the Public Administrator's wards to live as independently as possible.
  • Educate constituents as to the role, duty and responsibilities of the Public Administrator.
  • Coordinate with other county and state mental health providers for the education and dissemination of accurate information about the mentally ill.
