Boone County Government Offices Closed Friday, June 18, 2021, in Observance of Juneteenth

June 17, 2021 – The Boone County Commission has just announced that Boone County Government offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, June 18, 2021, in observance of Juneteenth.

Late today, the Missouri Office of Administration declared Juneteenth an Official State Holiday. According to Commission Order 480-2020 from October 22, 2020, Boone County honors all Official State Holidays. Accordingly, Friday, June 18, 2021, will be a holiday for Boone County employees in observance of Juneteenth.
