Boone County Commissioners Sponsor Stick Horse Competition at Fair

County Commissioners provide ribbons, goody bags for participants

Columbia, MO (July 23, 2009)-

Who: Boone County Commissioners

What: On July 24, the Boone County Commissioners will sponsor the Stick Horse Competition at the Boone County Fair. The competition is open to children six years and under. Participants can dress in costumes and walk around the arena to show their stick horses to the crowd. Each child will receive a goody bag and a blue ribbon. Professional photographs of each participant will be available for purchase.

When: Friday, July 24. Registration starts at 6:15 p.m. The competition starts at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Horse arena at the Boone County Fairgrounds-5212 N. Oakland Gravel Rd. Columbia, Mo.
