As directed by their respective governing bodies, the Columbia & Boone County Planning & Zoning Commissions will work jointly over the next 6 months, bringing together various stakeholders and the general public, in creating a sub-area plan for the land surrounding the Columbia Public School's newest high school site, east of Columbia.
This Sub-area plan will incorporate land use objectives, identification of infrastructure needs, and recommendations for guiding growth as development in this area accelerates.
