Building Code Board of Appeals
Ten member Board with one being from each Township in Boone County. At least seven of the ten members shall be a licensed professional engineer or architect or a contractor representing one of the building trades, or superintendent of building construction, and there shall not be more than two members of the board selected from the same profession or business; and at least one of the professional engineers shall be a licensed structural or civil engineer or have architectural engineering experience. The Board reviews requests for a variance from the provisions of the Building Code. The Board meets on call. (Term - 5 years)
